Surf School
Do larger groups get extra discounts?
Unfortunately we can't grant any discounts on our rates. You should know that we attach extreme importance to individual teaching, even in group courses. Therefore, our group courses are limited to 12 participants, and for every 3 students we provide at least one surf instructor, besides permanent video control, and consistently renewed equipment. These principles require their price.
Payment and Costs
How do I pay for the course?
A 30% down payment is required to reserve space in the surf course. This down payment can be wired either to one of our bank accounts or can be done by credit card online through www.paypal.com
The remaining amount is payable at the Brazil evolution surf camp office within 48 hours of the client's arrival in Vila Velha. The remainder payment can be made through Paypal (please make sure you have a Paypal account) or in cash, US $ or R$.
A 5% discount is available for any cash payment in Vila Velha.
Can I also wire the whole amount in advance?
Yes, the whole contracted amount can be wired in advance to one of our bank accounts or via www.Paypal.com. Many of our clients prefer this option to avoid carrying around large cash amounts on their journey.
However, please note there is a 5% discount available for cash payments in Vila Velha
Can I pay for the remainder with traveler's cheques?
Please note that we do NOT accept traveler checks and we actually do not recommend bringing them at all to this region, because it's not possible to get them exchanged at fair rates!
Can I pay the remainder with my credit card upon arrival?
Remainder payments can only be settled by credit card through the online payment solution www.paypal.com
Important: If you intend to use this service, please make sure beforehand that you have an operational Paypal-account set up and working (note that time since it takes a couple of days/weeks for a new Paypal account to become active).
Please also note that a 5% discount is available for any cash payment (US $ or R$) made to us in Vila Velha
Can I use my credit card in Vila Velha to pay for meals etc?
Yes, all shops and establishments in Vila Velha accept credit card payment.
How should I pay the remaining balance. Should I bring cash? What currency?
We don't accept direct credit card payment. Instead, please do one of the following:
- Use Paypal to wire the remainder before you arrive in Vila Velha.
- Use Paypal to wire the remainder once you're here (we can provide firewalled Internet access for online payments at the Brazil Evolution Surf Camp office)
- Bring cash US $ or R$. A 5% discount on any cash payment is available.
- Get cash on an ATM machine over here with a credit card + pin. Naturally, the 5% discount is available here, too.
What other costs will I have on this journey?
- Your journey to and back home from Rio de Janeiro/Vitoria, in other words, your international and domestic Brazilian flights.
