
Vila Velha is located in the state of Espirito Santo, southeast coast of Brazil, just about 40 minutes flight from the big cities like Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, but yet not discovered to the mass tourism and the surfing crowd.
Weather temperatures ranging from 22 to 30C (71.6/86F) all year long makes the city comfortable to live and the surf very pleasable. Water temperatures from 20 to 24C (68/75.2F) and cooler days during summer time (December and January).
Vila Velha is the oldest city in the state and one the oldest in whole Brazil. The surf camp is located in Prainha (little beach), a historical place where you can get fresh fish from the fisherman’s, walk all the way up to Convent da Penha, and have a 360 degree view from the city and the surf.
